This time I decided to use the Chock-Full of Cheer Stamp set from SU with coordinating DSP called Be of Good Cheer. I am soooooooo into the whole "Christmas In July" theme. It doesn't hurt that i'll be going back to my Army Career after my year of Parental Leave....so these things (Christmas Cards etc...) must get done with a sense of urgency!!!
Enjoy!

this is super cute, thanks for inspiring me, I need to get started on Christmas cards, it's never to early...lol....hope you have a great week! I am having a blog candy giveaway to celebrate my birthday, stop by and leave a comment for your chance to win!

Very beautiful card ! I´m thinking, that I need to get started with Christmas cards too :)
ReplyDeleteOh, that is a really super, super Christmas card! I paper and the stamp together! Thanks so much for your service. Our two nephews were in Iraq and Afghanistan in the Army, and Operation Write Home -- an organization where we make blank inside cards for troops to send back home -- is where I send most of my cards. I tend to make mostly kids' cards because of all the parents who are deployed. Including an Army mom who's a friend of mine.
ReplyDeleteYou know...you'd think that with all the crafting I do...That I would do the same thing for the troops here...But, between the deployments and the looking after kids, daily family life...I seem to fall short. I have to say though from being on the receiving end of those blank cards that get sent overseas...they are much appreciated. Boosts a troops morale better than a cup of coffee....(and that's saying something!!!!!)
DeleteThank you for your time in posting on my blog...and for the time to put aside to brighten a soldier's day...May God Bless you.
ooooh, I really like your card!! Makes me look at it from a completely different perspective. I will have to make a xmas one too. Thanks
